CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — The city government of Iligan began water rationing to affected households after its water provider made an emergency shutdown affecting 15,000 to 20,000 homes. A statement from the Iligan City Waterworks System (ICWS) indicated that 15 of the city’s 44 barangays (village) were affected by the water interruption, most of which are urban communities.
