World Bank predicts slow growth for Jamaica and other countries in the region

WASHINGTON, CMC – The World Bank Wednesday said that economic development Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is projected to grow 2.1 per cent this year, below the 2.4 per cent recorded in 2025. In its latest Latin America and the Caribbean Economic Update, the Washington-based financial institution said growth for 2027 is projected at 2.4 per cent.
