A source informed of the talks - which were conducted by special U.S. envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the Pakistani army chief, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan of Turkey and his Iranian counterpart - told Haaretz that Trump announced the cease-fire on social media just 15-20 minutes after a verbal agreement was reached. The source added that the issue of Iranian tolls for passage through the Hormuz Strait will be addressed in follow-up negotiations in Pakistan
