Good Samaritan slashed in face while trying to break up fight on NYC train: cops, sources

The victim was riding a southbound 4 train through the 14 Street Union Square stop around 2:40 p.m. Friday when he spotted a bespectacled, backpack-carrying stranger involved in a heated feud with someone else, the sources said.
