BAGUIO CITY — Veterans here had asked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to immediately sign into law a measure that declares the whole month of April as “Philippine Veterans Month.” The bill transmitted by Congress to the Palace “mandates a whole of society celebration of our veterans and provides for social services, memorialization and culture, and media and youth involvement, ” according to Deputy House Speaker Raymund Bautista, in a speech read for him at the Baguio Veterans Park on Wednesday.
