The Constitutional Court has determined that the confiscation of cars from speeders is generally constitutional. However, an exception - such as for leased vehicles - violates the principle of equality and is being repealed. According to the current regulation, only vehicles that are solely owned by the driver can be confiscated, declared forfeited, and utilized. This regulation will be repealed on October 1, 2027, the Constitutional Court announced.
