MANILA, Philippines — A global affairs and lifestyle magazine has recognized the Philippine Embassy in Singapore as one of the world’s “best” foreign embassies. London-based international magazine Monocle included the Philippine embassy in its “Good Embassies Guide” for its April 2026 issue. The embassy noted on Wednesday that it is the only diplomatic mission from Asia included in the list. The new Philippine Chancery at 20 Nassim Road, inaugurated on October 20, 2025, was selected as “Best Embassy Upgrade.” The embassy said it was honored by the recognition given to the newly redeveloped chancery, particularly as it came from an international publication. “Our Chancery, which serves as a strong testament to the enduring friendship between the Philippines and Singapore, continues to bring honor and pride to every Filipino around the world,” the embassy said in a Facebook post. The Philippines joins seven other diplomatic missions across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa featured in the magazine’s April issue.
