QCPD arrests 7 in road clearing ops in QC

MANILA, Philippines — Seven individuals were arrested during a clearing operation along NIA Road in Quezon City, authorities said Thursday. According to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), the suspects, whose ages ranged from 20 to 48 years old, were arrested after they formed a barricade and threw stones, woods and bottles on cops during the clearing operation. The QCPD said the confrontation resulted in injuries to several of its personnel.
