MANILA, Philippines – Motorists may get a rare reprieve next week, with diesel prices expected to fall by as much as P3.50 per liter following easing tensions between the United States and Iran. An energy industry source said diesel could see a rollback of P2.50 to P3.50 per liter. Gasoline prices, meanwhile, may remain unchanged or dip by up to P1 per liter. The projected rollback, however, would only slightly offset current pump prices, with diesel still hovering at highs of up to P170 per liter.
