Bilawal, PM discuss ceasefire on phone

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Thursday held a telephonic conversation to discuss the recent US-Iran ceasefire and the diplomatic push for Islamabad Agreement. During the call, the Prime Minister took the PPP chairman into confidence regarding developments related to the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, as well as the diplomatic efforts surrounding the Islamabad Agreement. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appreciated the government’s effective diplomacy and commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his team for their efforts in easing tensions. He remarked that Pakistan’s strong diplomatic strategy had helped avert the threat of a potential global conflict, highlighting the country’s constructive role on the international stage.
