ILOILO CITY — Western Visayas posted a significant 15.67-percent decline in focus crimes in the first quarter of 2026, while also surpassing national benchmarks for crime solution and clearance rates, according to data from the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6). PRO6 reported 366 focus crime incidents from January to March 2026, down from 434 cases recorded during the same period in 2025.
