MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed Dita Angara-Mathay as the new Department of Tourism (DOT) secretary, according to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Friday. Angara-Mathay previously worked as the Commercial Counselor at the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Tokyo, Japan, where she led strategic partnerships with Japanese industries.
