"The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) on Friday said that it struck approximately ten rocket launchers used to attack northern Israel, pledging to continue military operations against the group. Footage shows smoke clouds rising after the reported attack. The exact date and location of the video could not be independently verified at the time of publication. "In a rapid cycle of closures, the IDF struck from the air in recent hours about 10 launchers that fired toward the northern region," the IDF wrote on X (formerly Twitter). It comes as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared he had instructed his cabinet to hold talks with the Lebanese government while vowing to continue conducting military action against Hezbollah in the country. The Israeli military has issued evacuation orders in parts of Beirut after conducting what it said were the deadliest airstrikes in Lebanon since the end of the civil war in 1990, which killed over 300 people. Iran has accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement with the US. However, the US and Israel say Lebanon was part of the understanding. This comes as high-level delegations from the US and Iran are scheduled to meet in Islamabad on Friday for peace talks."
