UK forces 'more restrained' in Northern Ireland than any other civilised nation would have been - former SAS commander

A former SAS leader says the British Army showed more restraint in dealing with the terrorist insurgency in Northern Ireland than forces from any other NATO country would have, as he branded successive UK governments “stupid” for allowing veterans to be pursued through the courts.
