'We are exhausted' - Displaced people fill Beirut's public areas amid new Israeli evacuation warnings

"Dozens of residents of Beirut’s southern suburbs fled their homes and headed towards the seafront after the Israeli army issued new evacuation orders, which were expanded to additional areas for the first time since the war began. "We came here, but the air raid sirens reached this place, too. We don’t know where to go. No one can endure what’s happening; we are exhausted," Amina Atris, one of the displaced residents, said. Footage filmed on Thursday shows displaced families gathering along the waterfront, with long queues of vehicles as people sought safer areas.  Amal Assaf, a young girl displaced with her family, said the intensity of the bombardment forced them to flee to the waterfront, where they are now sheltering in their car.  Earlier on Thursday, the Israeli military issued evacuation warnings for several areas in Beirut, including Haret Hreik, Ghobeiry, Laylaki, Hadath, Burj al-Barajneh, Tahouita al-Ghadir, Shiyah, and al-Janaah.  Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the temporary ceasefire between the US and Iran did not include Lebanon, as its forces claimed to have carried out 100 strikes against the group in ten minutes on Wednesday.  According to the Lebanese health ministry, the death toll from the strikes has crossed 300, in what officials described as the deadliest attack on the country since the end of the civil war in 1990. Iran's foreign minister accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement.  This comes as high-level delegations from the US and Iran are scheduled to meet in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad in the coming days for peace talks."
