Sara Duterte impeachment case: Mindanao stakeholders want to intervene

MANILA, Philippines — A group of lawyers and Mindanao stakeholders on Friday asked the Supreme Court (SC) to allow them to intervene in the impeachment case petitions against Vice President Sara Duterte. “We make one point clear at the outset: We are intervening in our individual capacities as Filipino citizens and taxpayers, and our participation is personal, civil, and constitutional,” said the intervenors, who are officers, members, and professionals affiliated with the One Bangsamoro Movement (1Bangsa).
