Justice Yashwant Varma has resigned from his position. This follows allegations of burnt currency notes found at his official residence. A committee was formed to investigate corruption charges. Justice Varma stated he was denied basic fairness and due process. He was previously posted at the Allahabad High Court. His resignation comes after impeachment proceedings were initiated.
