Quezon fisherman gets P100,000 reward for turning over P16-M cocaine

LUCENA CITY — A fisherman, who turned over P16.7 million worth of cocaine he found in the island town of Patnanungan on Good Friday, received a P100,000 reward for his honesty. “Through the Sariling Sikap Program, we personally awarded him a cash incentive of P100,000 in recognition of his goodness and integrity,” Governor Angelina Tan said in a social media post after she visited Patnanungan town on Friday, April 10.
