BALANGA CITY, Bataan — “Keep right except to overtake” has emerged as the most frequently violated traffic rule in Bataan province, according to the Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA). In its three-month report for 2026, the MBDA recorded 1,998 traffic violations, with the “Keep right except to overtake” rule accounting for the majority of cases. The agency said this violation is a leading factor in serious road accidents along the Roman Superhighway, which connects Mariveles and passes through eight towns.
