KATSEYE’s Sophia Laforteza happy to see fans raising Philippine flag at Coachella

Sophia Laforteza of KATSEYE expressed pride after spotting fans waving the Philippine flag during Coachella 2026, where her group made its festival debut.  Laforteza, a Filipino-American and the group’s leader, is the only Filipina member of the Los Angeles-based girl group formed through a global audition program.  During their set, Laforteza noted the strong Filipino presence in the crowd, saying she was happy to see fans proudly raising the Philippine flag.  “I’m overwhelmed with emotion.
