MANILA, Philippines–Jeffrey Cariaso confirmed his exit as Blackwater coach on Saturday in what he described as a “mutual decision” between him and the team. In a statement, Cariaso belied reports that he had resigned after meeting with Blackwater officials, where they agreed to go their separate ways. “Effective today, I conclude my tenure as head coach of Blackwater Bossing, following discussions with management and a decision to move in different directions,” Cariaso said.
