MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — Over a thousand violators were apprehended in less than 48 hours, as the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) continued with the implementation of the “Safer Cities Initiative.” In a report released on Sunday morning, CCPO said that about a hundred operations made from 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, to 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 12, led to the arrest of 1,152 violators and the collection of P294,000 worth of fines.
