Truck carrying undeclared fuel seized at Tabaco Port

LIGAO CITY — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Saturday intercepted a truck carrying about 5,400 liters of petroleum products without the required permit at Tabaco Port in Tabaco City, Albay. The vehicle was intercepted at 11:15 a.m. during a random K9 inspection and routine check of outbound cargo, said Lt. j.g. Earl D. Cacho, commander of the Coast Guard Sub-Station in Tabaco. Cacho said the truck, bound for San Andres, Catanduanes, was flagged after authorities suspected it was transporting fuel.
