MANILA, Philippines–San Miguel Beer has begun the process of bringing back Bennie Boatwright on the heels of Justin Patton’s shock no-show in Sunday’s PBA Commissioner’s Cup loss to Magnolia at Smart Araneta Coliseum. Team manager Gee Abanilla said he already got in touch with Boatwright shortly after Patton became a headache when he failed to show up for practice and during the 120-111 defeat that sent the Beermen at 3-4.
