Our correspondent İsmail Arı, who was arrested on the grounds of his journalistic activities, has sent a letter to BirGün writer Timur Soykan. Emphasising that he would not give up journalism, Arı said, “I am now in the same prison as those accused of looting the Yunus Emre Foundation. I was the first to report on the Yunus Emre Foundation heist. I received three awards for this report.”
