Sisters charged after woman stabbed in Spanish Town dispute

Two sisters have been charged with wounding with intent after a woman was stabbed during an alleged dispute in Spanish Town, St Catherine in March. Charged are 28-year-old Sandrene Hayden and 18-year-old Sarah Byfield, a promoter, both of Adelaide Street in Rivoli. According to police reports, a dispute between Byfield and a woman escalated into a physical altercation on March 28 along Adelaide Street. It is alleged that during the confrontation, Hayden intervened and used a knife to stab the woman in the upper body.
