MANILA, Philippines — Cotabato City is forecast to have a dangerous heat index level at 42 degrees Celsius (°C) on Monday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). Also, the heat index in Metro Manila, is forecast to be under the “extreme caution” category as it is expected to reach 40°C at Pagasa’s station in the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City, and 38°C at its station in the Science Garden in Quezon City.
