CEBU CITY, Philippines — A suspect in the robbery and stabbing of a street sweeper and her son in Talisay City was arrested on Sunday, April 12, following a police manhunt. In a statement, Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas Jr. said the robbery suspect, identified as Andrew Abellana, 36, was apprehended around 3 p.m. after a hot pursuit operation led by local police.
