Election Commission appoints Odisha-cadre IPS officer as police observer for West Bengal polls

The Election Commission has appointed IPS officer Sarvana Vivek M as police observer for the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections. He will oversee police arrangements for the two-phase polls. Vivek, from the Odisha cadre, will be on deputation to the EC.
