First woman appointed to lead Australia's army

Australia's new Chief of the Defence Force Mark Hammond says our Navy could 'absolutely' contribute to Middle East war efforts, if requested. The government has today announced new ADF leadership, including Lieutenant General Susan Coyle, the nation's first ever female Army Chief. At the same time, locally made missiles have been test-fired in South Australia.
