BACOLOD CITY — Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson officially opened the 30th Panaad sa Negros Festival at the Panaad Park and Stadium on Monday, describing the milestone as a testament to the shared history, unity, and resilience of Negrenses. Lacson, who rang the ceremonial bell to signal the start of the weeklong celebration, said that despite global challenges such as unrest in the Middle East and rising fuel prices, Negrenses continue to find strength in solidarity.
