Deadline for income tax return filing moved to May 15

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. announced on Tuesday, April 14, the extension of the 2025 annual income tax return (ITR) filing deadline from April 15 to May 15. In a social media post, Marcos said this  would give taxpayers more time to file properly and give them additional time to submit all required documents without any penalties or subsurges.
