Inflation in Finland rose in March as higher energy prices pushed up consumer costs, while the central bank warned that the illegal US-Israeli war in against Iran is set to increase inflation across the euro area and slow economic growth. Statistics Finland said consumer prices increased by 1.3 per cent year on year in March, up from 0.6 per cent in February. Prices rose by 0.7 per cent compared with the previous month. Electricity, diesel and petrol recorded the largest price increases during the period.
