A Rocha Ghana raises concern over degradation at Lake Bosomtwe

Conservation group A Rocha Ghana has raised alarm over what it describes as ongoing destruction within the core zone of Lake Bosomtwe, warning that the activities pose a serious threat to both the environment and cultural heritage. The Southern Sector Manager of the organisation, Prosper Kwame Antwi-Boasiako, said the situation is “deeply alarming,” particularly in communities such as Abrodwum, Adwafo, and Abaase, where large sections of land are reportedly being cleared by unknown persons.
