"The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, concluded an official state visit to China on Tuesday. Footage shows the Crown Prince departing from in Beijing, where he was seen off by Emirati and Chinese officials before returning to the UAE. According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the visit included meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and expanding strategic cooperation across sectors of mutual interest. At the conclusion of the visit, he also expressed his thanks and appreciation to China for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation, wishing China and its friendly people continued progress and prosperity. During talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the two sides also addressed regional developments, with the Chinese president presenting a four-point proposal to promote peace and stability in the Middle East, emphasising the importance of regional cooperation among Gulf states and the region as an "interconnected neighborhood that cannot be separated," and the necessity of supporting security without escalation or external military pressure. The proposals reportedly included an emphasis on respecting national sovereignty, strengthening adherence to international law, and linking development paths to regional security and stability."
