19 nabbed over delivery of alleged illegal cigarettes in Bulacan

MANILA, Philippines — Nineteen individuals were arrested for allegedly delivering illegal cigarettes in Bulacan early Tuesday morning, according to a police report from the Police Regional Office Central Luzon (PRO 3). After a tip from a confidential informant, operatives tracked down and caught the suspects along the Doña Remedios Trinidad Highway in Baliwag City, the police report noted. “[The] suspects were caught in the act transferring boxes of illicit cigarettes from container vans to smaller trucks,” PRO 3 explained.
