MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Tuesday said it prevented the entry of P178 million worth of contaminated frozen meat and fish. According to the BOC in a statement, the shipments were placed under customs custody at the Manila International Container Port (MICP) after customs agents confirmed compromised, cold chain conditions during a spot-check examination.
