Every Day on Average a Defibrillator Deployment by the Police in Austria

Last year, police officers in Austria conducted an average of one defibrillator deployment per day, totaling 378. All patrol cars of the federal police are already equipped with defibrillators. A particularly high number of deployments were recorded in Vienna in 2025, with 189, the Ministry of the Interior announced on Tuesday, April 14, the "Emergency Call Day." First responder deployments were and are much more frequent.
