MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has released the approved routes covered by the land-based service contracting program. Beginning Wednesday, the government will provide traditional jeepneys with P30 per kilometer, modern jeepneys with P40 per kilometer, and buses with P100 per kilometer. The LTFRB said the number of trips covered by the payout is as follows: six trips per day for Edsa Carousel buses; and up to 100 kilometers per day for buses, UV Express units, and jeepneys.
