Mallikarjun Kharge convenes meeting of Congress brass to discuss women quota, delimitation

Congress leaders convened to strategise on the women's reservation law. Parliament will hold a special session to discuss amendments for its implementation. The law aims to reserve 33 percent of seats for women in Lok Sabha and state assemblies. This will be operationalised after a delimitation exercise based on the next census, increasing Lok Sabha seats before the 2029 polls.
