DA begins rollout of P10-B cash assistance for farmers, fisherfolk

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Wednesday announced that it has begun the rollout of the P10-billion cash assistance program aimed at farmers and fisherfolk struggling with rising production and input costs due to the volatile prices of fuel. According to the DA, under the Presidential Assistance for Farmers and Fisherfolk Program (PAFFP), a P2,325 financial aid will be provided each to more than 4.17 million beneficiaries nationwide.
