MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country will experience generally fair weather on Thursday as a high-pressure ridge dominates Luzon, while a typhoon with international name “Sinlaku” remains unlikely to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), the state weather bureau said. In its latest bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the ridge of high-pressure area (HPA) is the sole weather system affecting the country.
