CEBU CITY, Philippines – Two in 5 individuals in Central Visayas own at least one bank account, the latest results from the government’s financial inclusivity report showed. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) recently published the 2025 Consumer Finance and Inclusion Survey (CFIS). Of the over 8,000 adults aged 15 years old and above surveyed in the Philippines, around 45 percent from Central Visayas reported having formal account ownership.
