Dec. 26 declared as 'Jose de Venecia Day' in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – December 26 of every year has been declared as Jose C. de Venecia Jr. Day in Pangasinan in “recognition of his distinguished service to the Filipino people and his contributions to national development” and of the province. The Sanguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Pangasinan made the declaration through Provincial Ordinance 56-2026, which was co-authored by all SP members and approved last Monday during its regular session.
