KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian palm oil futures traded in a tight range on Thursday as pressure from weaker crude oil prices countered support from firmer rival edible oils. The benchmark palm oil contract for July delivery on the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Exchange slid 10 ringgit, or 0.22%, to 4,487 ringgit ($1,135.95) a metric ton in early trade.
