Pakistan recorded a current account surplus of $1.07 billion in March 2026, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday. This takes 9MFY26 current account to surplus of $174 million against 8MFY26 deficit of $896mn. The central bank revised the current account data for February to a surplus of $231 million from previously reported $427 million . “The current account surplus on MoM basis increased due to lower goods and services deficit and higher remittances,” Topline Research said.
