MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — Mandaue City officials are studying a possible wage increase for job order (JO) workers as rising fuel prices continue to drive up the cost of basic goods. Councilor Carlo Fortuna, chairman of the committee on laws and ordinances, said the spike in fuel prices has created a domino effect, making daily expenses heavier for ordinary Filipinos.
