117 hospitalised in Meru after eating contaminated meat

At least 117 people have been hospitalised at Nyambene Hospital in Meru after eating meat from a cow that died of anthrax. Medical Officer in charge, Mr Githu Wachira, confirmed that eight patients have so far tested positive for anthrax, while laboratory tests on other cases are ongoing.
