Ho Chi Minh City resident fined over $28, forced to clean up illegal trash dump

Police in Binh Trung Ward, Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday fined a local resident VND750,000 (US$28.5) and ordered him to clean up the garbage he had illegally dumped under the Nam Ly Bridge, in an effort to deter repeat offenses and curb littering in the area.
