BACOLOD CITY — Deputy House Speaker and Bacolod Rep. Alfredo Abelardo “Albee” Benitez announced on Thursday, April 16, that he is allocating about P2 million from his personal funds to provide fuel subsidy cards to around 1,780 public utility jeepney drivers. The ceremonial launch of the Fuel Subsidy Program was held Thursday morning at his office in Bacolod City. Under the program, each driver will receive a fuel subsidy card worth P1,000, which can be used to redeem fuel at designated gasoline stations along their routes.
